Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join their field team covering the South-East England region. The role focuses on maintenance, breakdowns and commissioning across compressed air equipment, with travel and overnight stays possible.

The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic skills, extensive knowledge of compressed air technologies, and a full driving license. A field-based position based out of our Ashford office, with company vehicle provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum HNC level in an Electrical/Electronic/Instrumentation or Electromechanical discipline.
• Proven diagnostic skills on complicated electrical/mechanical systems.
• Extensive product knowledge within the compressed air industry.
• PC literate.
• Full driving license.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites to perform breakdown repairs on all compressed air generating equipment.
• Attend customer sites to perform preventative maintenance on all compressed air generating equipment.
• Maintain verbal and written communications with customers and others in a professional manner.
• Liaise with technical or office-based personnel to understand job requirements.
• Liaise with customers to ensure work is done with their approval.
• Operate in accordance with company EHS guidelines.
