Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Compressed Air Systems Technician to service and install compressed air equipment across UK customer sites. The role involves working on air compressors, air treatment, control systems, and nitrogen generation, with travel between branches as required.

The ideal candidate has a Level 3 in mechanical or electrical engineering, a full UK driving licence, and is computer literate. On-site work with company van provided and comprehensive pension and benefits package.

• Applicants with 5+ years preferred, but less experience will be considered.

Job Summary

Due to continued growth, we have vacancies for Professional Service Technicians at United Air Power/Ingersoll Rand to undertake maintenance work on our UK customer’s compressed air systems, including Air Compressors, Air Treatment, Control Systems, Refrigeration (FGAS) & Nitrogen Generation.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and installation work on compressed air systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults in air compressors and related equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Provide technical support to customers.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.

Basic Qualifications

• Level 3 in a mechanical/electrical engineering discipline is preferred but not essential.
• Full UK Driving licence
• Computer literate

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

Fully site based with travel between various branches within the Ingersoll Rand Group.

Key Competencies

• Experience in maintaining compressed air systems is essential. Applications are invited from Compressed Air Technicians with a minimum of 5 years of experience but applicants with less experience will be considered
