eurochange is hiring a Retail Sales Assistant for the Chantry Place centre in Norwich. This 12 hours per week, part-time role involves delivering friendly service, handling transactions, and helping customers with travel money needs.

You will build rapport, recommend products, and ensure compliance with regulations while keeping the bureau welcoming and secure. Flexible with occasional travel to nearby branches to support the team.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in retail sales, cash handling, and customer service.
• Confident, friendly and positive attitude with good communication.
• High accuracy and attention to detail when handling transactions.
• Flexible to adapt, work independently and travel to nearby locations if required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly service that turns first-time customers into loyal fans.
• Build rapport to understand travel plans and needs.
• Recommend products and services tailored to each customer.
• Engage in conversational selling to match products to needs.
• Provide trusted advice on exchange rates and currency options.
• Process transactions accurately while complying with regulations.
• Keep the bureau secure, presentable and welcoming at all times.
• Promote additional products and services to enhance each customer’s journey.
• Take ownership when the manager is away and keep the bureau running smoothly.
• Support onboarding and share knowledge with the team.
