Job summary

Technical Partners International is seeking a Mechanical Field Service Engineer to service and overhaul control valves across the UK, Ireland and North Sea offshore environments. The role blends workshop and field work with extensive travel to customer sites, offering training and development for suitable candidates.

Ideal applicants have a strong mechanical background, willingness to travel, and the ability to work on rotating equipment and shutdown campaigns.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical engineering background and hands-on maintenance experience.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work away from home when required.
• Positive, hands-on attitude with strong communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Service, inspect and overhaul control valves and associated equipment.
• Carry out in situ maintenance, repair and refurbishment at customer sites.
• Support planned shutdowns, outages and maintenance campaigns.
• Perform fault finding, diagnostics and technical reporting.
• Assist with commissioning and plant start up activities.
• Maintain safe work practices and document activities thoroughly.
