Job summary

Humand Talent is looking for a Field Service, Mechanical Engineer to join a client’s growing team. This field‑based role focuses on maintaining, servicing, and testing specialist mechanical systems across varied sites in the UK and Ireland.

You’ll travel regularly, work hands‑on, and gain exposure to pneumatics, hydraulics and calibration techniques while also contributing to workshop assembly. The role offers enhanced overtime, generous holidays, and long‑term career development.

Qualifications

• Relevant mechanical engineering or plant engineering background.
• Experience maintaining and servicing mechanical systems.
• Willingness to travel and work in field-based settings.
• Basic knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Training in testing, calibration and inspection processes is valued.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service and test specialist mechanical systems across multiple sites.
• Contribute to workshop-based assembly and testing when required.
• Travel across the UK and Ireland with occasional international work.
• Take ownership of maintenance and servicing tasks at sites.
