Job summary

The Force Group Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide aftersales/service support of industrial boilers, heat exchangers, industrial valves and controls within energy centres, plant rooms and industrial settings.

The role is full-time and permanent, with a company van and company phone provided, offering opportunities to grow alongside the business and develop cross-selling service packages for customers.

Qualifications

• Previous field service experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of valves, pumps, heat exchangers and controls is beneficial.
• Time served engineer or completed apprenticeship is required.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out gas burner and boiler strip down work.
• Carry out PPM visits to ensure longevity of site equipment.
• Install, repair, overhaul and test a range of industrial and commercial valves.
• Complete site surveys for necessary works.
• Attend breakdowns and provide comprehensive job reports.
• Advise customers on basic checks to prevent faults.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers and cross-sell services.
