Job summary

Yolk Recruitment Ltd in Cardiff is seeking a Travel Claims Handler to join a growing insurance services team. This hybrid role combines in-office days with working from home, handling travel insurance claims end-to-end and delivering a high standard of customer service.

You will assess indemnity, liability and quantum, identify fraud indicators, support the Claims Team Leader, manage a pro-active caseload and negotiate settlements while maintaining compliance and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate looking a new challenge.
• Previous experience in travel insurance claims is ideal - but not essential.
• Confident communicator who can build rapport with customers and third parties.
• Comfortable using data to spot trends and make informed decisions.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Organised and able to meet daily and weekly targets.

Travel Claims Handler
Cardiff - Hybrid Working
Salary: From £24,500 (DOE)

Yolk Recruitment are working with a growing insurance services business in the heart of Cardiff that supports both UK and international insurance providers. The team delivers a wide range of services including claims handling, customer service, underwriting, and pricing - all with a strong focus on data, innovation and continuous improvement.

Right now, they're looking for a Travel Claims Handler to join the team. It's a hybrid role with 2-3 days in the Cardiff office and the rest working from home. You'll be responsible for managing travel insurance claims from start to finish, providing a high standard of service to customers travelling both within the UK and abroad.

If you're experienced in handling claims or a recent graduate who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, this could be a great fit.
