The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join the Trauma and Orthopaedic team. You will support nurses in delivering safe, compassionate patient care and assist with daily activities within busy hospital wards.

GCSEs in Maths and English are required, with hospital experience desirable. Part-time hours may be available; full-time candidates are welcome to apply and will be supported in a dynamic environment.

Qualificações

• This role supports registered nurses in providing safe and caring support to patients.
• It involves helping patients with everyday needs such as washing, eating, drinking and moving safely.
• You will check and record basic health information and report any concerns to a nurse.
• The job includes keeping the ward clean, tidy and well-organised, and helping with basic admin tasks.
• You will work flexibly across different wards and follow all training, policies and safety rules.
• Good communication, kindness and respect for patients and their individual needs are essential.
