Job summary

Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Admin Line Manager to oversee the administration team within the Trauma & Orthopaedics Eastern Service. You will lead day-to-day operations, provide executive support, and ensure confidential, high-quality administrative services.

We value organised, motivated leaders who can drive service improvements, support staff wellbeing, and collaborate with Northern teams to standardise workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience leading administrative teams in a health or public sector setting.
• Able to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Strong communication for coordinating with clinical, administrative and operational staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day admin team operations and ensure professional service.
• Provide high quality personal assistance to management, with initiative and independent work.
• Maintain information security and patient confidentiality at all times.
• Deliver excellent customer care to patients and relatives with tact and empathy.
• Support RTT pathways monitoring, tracking lists and action follow-up.
• Foster staff wellbeing, development and cross-service collaboration.
