Job summary

University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is recruiting for a dedicated nurse to join Cedar Ward at Rugby St Cross. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to embed high standard patient care, and contribute to education and training across the workforce.

The role offers a bespoke induction and development package, with opportunities to lead on patient journey improvements and participate in policy development and audit.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated excellent nursing skills to ensure optimum patient care.
• Willingness to develop staff through supervision and mentorship.
• Ability to use IT systems to secure accurate and timely patient, workforce and resource data.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical assessment and plan patient care with the MDT.
• Coordinate site operations at weekends as part of a rolling roster.
• Communicate clinical decisions and care pathways to patients and carers.
• Support education and training activities across the workforce.
• Promote Health and Safety and infection control.
