Job summary

• NMC registration and evidence of CPD

• Cannulation/venepuncture competence
• Assessor qualification or willingness to work towards

Responsibilities

• Develop and educate staff, supervising, mentoring and appraising as required.
• Utilise IT systems to secure accurate patient, workforce and resource data.
• Manage clinical events with appropriate level of physical effort.
• Support patients and carers during difficult situations, including conveying difficult news.
• Undertake site coordinator role at weekends as part of a rolling roster.
• Promote Health and Safety adherence to Trust policies.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment with infection control standards.
