Job summary

Paragon Social Care is seeking compassionate Children's Support Workers to make a positive difference in the lives of young people. You will provide trauma-informed care, build trusting relationships, and support education and life skills in a 24/7 wraparound context.

The role involves promoting safe, nurturing environments, coordinating with services, and encouraging independence while advocating for youth voices and well-being.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people (paid or voluntary).
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own car.
• Patience, empathy, and emotional resilience.
• Flexibility to work waking nights, weekends, and sleep-ins.
• A clear enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed, compassionate care.

• Support education, life skills, and independence.
• Prepare meals and promote healthy lifestyles.
• Advocate for young people and ensure their voices are heard.
• Support medical appointments and community activities.
