Job summary

Paragon Social Care is seeking compassionate and resilient Children’s Support Workers to join our team, delivering 24/7 wraparound care for children and young people in local authority care. You will build trusting relationships, support education, life skills and independence, assist with meals and health routines, attend medical appointments, and advocate for young people so their voices are heard.

A full UK driving licence and access to your own car are preferred; DBS checks are required;

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people (paid or voluntary).
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own car.
• Patience, empathy and emotional resilience.
• Flexibility to work waking nights, weekends and sleep-ins.
• A clear enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
• A relevant qualification (such as NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care) is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities
