Job summary

The Day Coach (Residential Support Worker) role in Eastbourne at SuperCare is seeking compassionate staff to support children and young people aged 10 to 16 in an Ofsted Registered residential home. You will help create a therapeutic, nurturing, structured environment and work as part of a high-performing team to deliver trauma-informed care.

This role offers extensive training, development opportunities and a supportive team culture, with 24/7 service operation and rotating day and night shifts

Qualifications

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (preferred) or willingness to complete.
• Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
• Experience working with children and young people (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, consistent and therapeutic care to children and young people.
• Safeguard and promote welfare in line with legislation and organisational policies.
• Deliver care in line with therapeutic models, PBS plans and individual care plans.
• Maintain accurate records, daily logs and incident reports.
• Work flexibly across different homes within the service where required.
