Job summary

Gloucester City Homes Limited is seeking a Young People’s Housing Support Specialist to join Hewmar House, providing trauma-informed support to young people with complex needs in supported accommodation. You will work as part of a team, coordinating shifts and delivering person-centred assistance to help residents toward independent living.

Qualifications

• NVQ/qualification in health and social care for children and young people.
• Relevant counselling qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience working with young people in homelessness or complex needs settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor individual support plans centred on independence.
• Support housing, wellbeing, life skills and tenancy sustainment for young people.
• Work with colleagues and partners; assess safeguarding and risk factors.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to outcomes monitoring.
