Job summary

Caring for Communities and People (CCP) is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for our Bournemouth accommodation-based service. You will provide practical and emotional support to young people aged 16-18, helping them move towards independent living within a trauma-informed framework.

Join a tight-knit team on a rotating schedule, contributing to safety planning, housing support, and employment/education goals.

Qualifications

• Experience providing practical and emotional support to individuals.
• Ability to work in a trauma-informed way with training provided.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with people supported.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical and emotional support to individuals in the Accommodation-Based Services.
• Assist with daily living skills and independence (shopping, budgeting, cooking).
• Support on a rota with team members including Senior Support Workers and a Project Manager.
