Job summary

Cambian Group Plc in Oldham is seeking a Female Team Leader for our Supported Living services. The role involves leading a team of Support Workers, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care and developing staff through supervision and training.

You will work closely with the Service Manager and healthcare professionals to support women aged 18+ with ADHD, autism, EUPD, learning disabilities, schizophrenia and trauma-related needs.

Qualifications

• We are looking for someone who is resilient, compassionate and passionate about improving the lives of others.
• Previous experience in a Team Leader, Senior Support Worker or Senior Care role.
• Experience supervising, mentoring or developing staff.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• An understanding of person-centred, trauma-informed practice and Positive Behaviour Support.
• The ability to remain calm under pressure and confidently manage challenging situations.
• A flexible approach to working rota-based shifts.
• A driving licence is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and support a team of Support Workers.
• Conduct supervisions, coaching sessions and team meetings.
• Support recruitment, induction and ongoing staff development.
• Create and manage staff rotas, annual leave and cover arrangements.
• Promote positive outcomes through trauma-informed and PBS approaches.
• Build relationships with families, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
• Support care planning and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings.
• Lead by example and promote a positive, inclusive team culture.
• Provide hands-on support, including personal care where required.
• Support individuals to develop life skills, access the community and achieve greater independence.
• Attend MDT meetings and collaborate with health professionals, social workers, commissioners and families.
• Advocate for the people we support and ensure their voices and choices remain central.
