Job summary

Ministry of Justice's Office of the Victims' Commissioner for England and Wales seeks a lead for a new advisory panel for adult survivors of child sexual abuse and exploitation. The postholders will coordinate participation, safeguarding, and wraparound support, ensuring survivor insight informs government policy.

This two-year, civil service role requires trauma-informed, survivor-centred practice, plus grant and supplier management, with hybrid working and 25 days annual leave.

Qualifications

• Trauma-informed, survivor-centred participation experience with adults who have survived child sexual abuse or related trauma.
• Grant management experience including budget monitoring and supplier management; familiarity with quarterly reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead a trauma-informed participation model and ensure safeguarding, wellbeing and psychological safety.
• Onboard panel members on purpose, boundaries and safeguarding routes.
