Job summary

Women's Aid Federation of England is seeking a Survivor Services Manager to oversee day-to-day survivor support across services, ensuring safe, high-quality practice. The role includes budgeting, safeguarding, and staff leadership, with a focus on survivor voice and partnership building.

The post requires experience with safeguarding, policy development, and management of staff and volunteers, and offers remote working with UK-wide impact.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safeguarding issues relating to survivors and children.
• Knowledge of rights and options for women fleeing domestic violence and relevant legislation.
• Experience with survivors and children affected by abuse.
• Experience managing staff/volunteers including recruitment, training and supervision.
• Experience monitoring and evaluating advice service provision.
• Experience developing policies/procedures to set up or improve services.
• Operational management of telephone and online advice services.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day survivor services delivery with safeguarding and quality assurance.
• Plan, monitor budget, and assure service impact and outcomes.
• Lead a team of senior and junior staff; oversee volunteers as needed.
• Provide practice leadership and support income generation and service development.
• Collaborate with Head of Policy and Survivor Services to champion survivor voice.
