Job summary

Caring for Communities and People (CCP) is recruiting a Support Worker for a brand-new service in Trowbridge, with homes in Chippenham and Salisbury. The role involves housing and support for Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children and Care Experienced young people.

We value lived experience and welcome applicants with Leave to Remain. Full-time hours are 39.375 per week with shift patterns, and a supportive benefits package is provided through CCP.

Qualifications

• Patient, kind, resilient, professional with a calm and caring approach.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Experience as a support worker or willingness to begin a career in housing and support for young people.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Management Team with oversight of homes, leading on support and safety.
• Be a role model to the young people, continually pushing for the highest standards.
• Provide trauma-informed support and champion diversity and inclusion.
• Help with moving, safety planning, securing jobs or training, independent living skills, and refugee status processes.
