Job summary

Riverside is recruiting a Support Worker to join the Swindon Young Parents service, helping families facing housing and independence challenges. You will manage a caseload, deliver one-to-one support and run group activities at Toothill and Pinehurst.

Role requires empathy, resilience and ability to work flexible hours; travel between sites is expected. You will coordinate with partners, support budgeting, tenancy readiness and safety across properties.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with vulnerable people.
• Experience delivering structured support and risk management.
• Team player with caring, empathetic nature and resilient attitude.
• Understanding of supporting vulnerable people – including lived experience of homelessness or addiction.
• Ability to work flexible hours including lone working.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a regular caseload and provide 1-2-1 support as well as group activities.
• Travel between Toothill and Pinehurst and collaborate with multi-agency partners.
• Assist customers with tenancy management, rent, and service charges.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and maintain safety across sites.
• Record clear, accurate customer information on the digital platform.
