Job summary

Riverside is seeking a Project Assistant to join our supported housing team in Camden. This permanent, full-time role involves supporting the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring safety and wellbeing, and assisting with tenancy-related duties.

The post requires empathy, strong communication, and to work within safeguarding policies. You will work on a shift rota, logging incidents, preparing rooms for new occupants and helping customers access employment, education, and training

Qualifications

Experience of working with people in a customer facing environment.
Understanding of supporting vulnerable people – possibly including lived experience of homelessness or substance misuse.
Basic administrative and IT skills and attention to detail are required to maintain records and in-house systems.

Responsibilities

Support customers in day‑to‑day operations and tenancy matters.
Log incidents and maintain accurate records of events.
Prepare and clean rooms for new occupants and assist with housing management tasks.
Maintain rent accounts, invoices, petty cash and banking in the finance system.
Participate in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing training to develop practice.
