Job summary

Simon Community Scotland is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help women experiencing homelessness and those affected by trauma. You will provide practical and emotional support to help secure housing and access essential services in a trauma-informed, harm-reduction environment.

This frontline role operates within a 24/7 accommodation service, requiring flexibility, compassion and a strong commitment to women-centred practice. Training and strong team support are provided.

Qualifications

• SVQ 3 social care or willing to work towards qualification.
• SSSC registered.
• Ability to work within the parameters of the SSSC Code of Practice.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage personalised support plans for people, prioritising tasks and managing resources.
• Monitor progress against goals and adjust plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate records using Netsuite.
