Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH needs or trauma-related challenges.
• Ability to employ trauma-informed approaches with clear boundaries.
• Strong communication, patience and emotional resilience.

Responsibilities

• Build trusting relationships with pupils facing SEMH challenges.
• Provide individual and small-group mentoring.
• Support children with dysregulated behaviour and emotional triggers.
• Use calming, consistent boundaries to help coping strategies.
• Collaborate with teachers to ensure consistent support and progress.
