Job summary

Vetro Recruitment seeks a dedicated Registered Manager to oversee a single-occupancy children's home in Loughborough, Leicestershire. You will manage the home, lead a small team of care staff, and ensure high standards of care in line with Ofsted regulations.

The role involves trauma-informed, child-centred support for a young person aged 6–16, coordinating personalised care plans and working with external professionals to support development and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in residential childcare.
• Enhanced DBS Check (Mandatory)
• Full UK Driving Licence

Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for one young person
• Leading and supporting a small team of care staff, fostering a positive and professional team culture
• Developing and overseeing personalised care plans, working closely with external professionals such as child psychologists and tutors
• Building strong relationships with families, social workers, and other key stakeholders to support the young person’s development and well-being
