The Lighthouse in Stroud, part of Priory, is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a specialist 5-bed residential home for young females aged 13–18 with mental health needs. Full-time, site-based role at 37.5 hours per week with a £50,000 salary.

You will drive day-to-day operations, ensure Ofsted compliance, oversee care planning and safeguarding, and lead a skilled care team to deliver trauma-informed, therapeutic support in a stable, supportive environment.

Formación

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards it).
• Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent with Residential Childcare experience.
• Proven management or deputy-level experience in children's residential care.
• In-depth Ofsted inspection framework knowledge and safeguarding legislation.
• Trauma-informed and therapeutic care approach.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure compliance with Ofsted and Children’s Homes Regulations.
• Maintain high-quality care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding practices.
• Lead regulatory inspections to achieve and sustain Good or Outstanding ratings.
• Recruit, supervise, develop, and retain a high-performing care team.
• Build effective partnerships with local authorities, social workers, and multidisciplinary teams.
