Job summary

Rape Crisis Grampian is recruiting a full-time Young Persons Support Practitioner to join our Young Persons Support Team. The postholder will provide trauma-informed emotional support to young survivors of sexual violence, both on a one-to-one basis and through group work.

Only women need apply under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010. The selection process will include seeking enhanced disclosure information.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed emotional support to young survivors of sexual violence, both on a one-to-one basis and through group work.
• Support a caseload of young people aged 11 to 25 who have experienced sexual violence and its impact, including significant trauma.
