Job summary

Community Integrated Care is seeking a part-time Children’s Residential Registered Nurse (RMN or RMN) to promote health and well-being for looked-after children in residential settings. You will collaborate with residential staff, education professionals and CAMHS to embed trauma-informed care into practice.

You will lead safeguarding and risk assessment, provide guidance, and support staff training across multiple sites. The role values empathy, resilience and strong multi‑agency collaboration.

Qualifications

• Qualified nurse (RMN or RSCN) with current NMC registration.
• Strong understanding of looked-after children's health and development needs.
• Experience in trauma-informed practice and attachment theory is essential.
• Proven ability to lead safeguarding and risk assessment in multi-agency settings.
• Experience in staff training, supervision or service development is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Promote and support health, well-being and daily living skills for looked-after children.
• Provide guidance to residential staff and inform care planning with a trauma-informed approach.
• Lead safeguarding, risk assessment and multi‑agency liaison to improve outcomes.
• Support across multiple sites, including lone-working arrangements and flexible shifts.
