Job summary

Sewell Park Academy seeks a senior leader to run the Specialist Resource Base (SRB) for KS3 in the foundation stage. You will work with the SRB Lead Teacher on day-to-day operations, lead pastoral care and SEND interventions, and line-manage Teaching Assistants within Norfolk's AP strategy.

The role requires trauma-informed leadership, strong safeguarding, and collaboration with families and external agencies. DBS and Childcare Disqualification declarations are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS clearance required.
• Childcare (Disqualification) declaration required.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational management alongside SRB Lead Teacher, deputising when required.
• Plan, coordinate and deliver targeted SEMH support.
• Conduct standardised assessments and oversee Individual Intervention Plans.
• Line manage SRB Teaching Assistants.
