Sewell Park Academy in Norwich seeks a SEMH Specialist Resource Base (SRB) Lead Teacher to inspire and lead our secondary provision, focusing on KS3 in this foundation stage. You will act as a strategic bridge between the school, the Local Authority adviser, and the wider community.

You will champion inclusion, trauma-informed practice and high expectations, build an ambitious curriculum, and support pupils to re-engage with mainstream or specialist pathways.

Qualifications

• Experience leading SEMH or SRB provision.
• Trauma-informed understanding of SEMH needs and impact on learning.
• Strong strategic planning and leadership skills.
• Ability to collaborate with LA advisers, parents and communities.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic vision and operational direction for the SEMH SRB.
• Shape a broad, ambitious curriculum and intervention programme for SEMH needs.
• Line-manage and develop staff, delivering CPD and growth.
• Collaborate with parents/carers, home schools, external agencies and LA to oversee ILPs and transitions.
• Champion inclusion, safeguarding, and a safe learning environment.
