Prospero Teaching is seeking a Trauma-Informed Mentor to support children and young people across West Sussex through personalised 1:1 mentoring. The role focuses on building confidence, resilience, emotional regulation, and positive engagement, in partnership with Local Authorities.
The position requires at least 2 years' educational experience, a strong trauma-informed approach, and the ability to travel within West Sussex. Flexible hours with a September start support vulnerable learners.
Help Young People Rebuild Confidence and Engagement
We're looking for a Trauma-Informed Mentor to support children and young people across West Sussex through personalised 1:1 mentoring.
Working on behalf of Local Authorities, you'll support learners who may have experienced significant barriers to education and require a consistent, trusted adult to help them build confidence, resilience, emotional regulation, and positive engagement. Many of the young people we support benefit from a relationship-led approach that prioritises trust, safety, and understanding.
