Qualifications

• No formal qualification required.
• Experience working with children or young people in education or other settings is valued.
• Willingness to undergo safeguarding checks (DBS).

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in the classroom.
• Work with children 1:1 or in small groups.
• Manage classroom resources and prepare activities.
• Take children on trips and visits.
• Share lunch with children who need social support.
• Help manage heightened behaviours and keep children safe.
• Engage in play activities and celebrate successes.
• Be involved in therapy sessions or reflective practice.
