Job summary

Stonewater is seeking a Domestic Abuse Support Worker to manage a caseload within a female-only refuge, delivering trauma-informed coaching and practical support to residents. The role focuses on keeping residents safe and empowering them to access rights and services.

The post is permanent, part-time (30 hours per week), and requires experience with complex needs and domestic abuse, plus strong communication and partnership-building skills. DBS check and Right to Work will apply.

Qualifications

• Experience with people with multiple complex needs and/or domestic abuse.
• Experience completing CAADA DASH risk assessments.
• Understanding practical, emotional, economic and social issues of domestic abuse clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage caseload using a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach.
• Deliver one-to-one and group coaching sessions.
• Identify and signpost customers to partner services.
• Record concise case notes and support paperwork.
