Stonewater is seeking a Female Domestic Abuse Support Worker to manage a caseload of customers with complex needs within a female-only domestic abuse refuge. You will provide emotional and practical support, focusing on keeping residents safe and helping them access rights to legal protection, while signposting to partner services as needed.

The role requires experience with CAADA DASH, trauma-informed approaches, and strong housing/benefits knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience working with people with multiple complex needs and/or domestic abuse.
• Experience of CAADA DASH risk assessments and safety planning.
• Understand the practical, emotional, economic and social issues of those experiencing domestic abuse.
• Proven complex case management experience, focused on outcomes for customers and their wider community.
• Maintain a non-judgemental, person-centred approach, treating everyone with dignity, respect, and understanding.
• Record concise, accurate case notes and support paperwork.
• Be able to demonstrate partnership working with specialist agencies such as mental health teams, offending services or other relevant services.
• Have knowledge of housing and benefits advice.
• Have experience using a housing management system or other similar software.
• Have exceptional communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage a caseload of customers with complex needs through Stonewater’s supported housing service using a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach.
• Deliver quality, outcome-focused coaching sessions in one-to-one and group settings, providing emotional and practical support.
• Conduct sessions on keeping safe, healthy relationships, substance use, mental health and wellbeing, finances and employment skills.
• Identify and signpost customers to services available from partner agencies to support safety and rights to legal protection.
• Collaborate with key partners to ensure customers stay safe and access necessary services.
