Job summary

Red Snapper Recruitment Group in Dudley is seeking a Domestic Abuse Practitioner to support families affected by domestic abuse within a multi‑disciplinary safeguarding partnership. You will provide trauma‑informed, evidence‑based support to parents and carers, helping to reduce risk and promote safety.

You will manage cases in homes and community settings, complete risk assessments, safety plans and outcome measurements, working with partner agencies and adhering to GDPR and safeguarding

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant field.
• Experience supporting victims of domestic abuse.
• Ability to work within safeguarding environments.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of individuals and families affected by domestic abuse.
• Complete risk assessments, safety planning and support plans.
• Provide emotional and practical support to victims and their children.
• Work directly with families in homes and community settings.
• Contribute to multi‑agency meetings such as CIN, CP, MARAC and TAF.
• Advise and support partner agencies on domestic abuse practice.
• Capture outcomes using agreed tools and frameworks.
• Maintain accurate records in line with GDPR and safeguarding requirements.
