Job summary

Change Grow Live is seeking a part-time Counselling Coordinator in Dagenham, responsible for coordinating counselling services and leading a team of volunteers and student counsellors. You will ensure clinical supervision, referral reviews, and trauma-informed practice across the service.

The role requires a Level 4 counselling qualification and progression toward BACP accreditation, with strong leadership and training capabilities to develop staff and volunteers.

Qualifications

• Professional Level 4 counselling qualification with post-qualified experience.
• Knowledge of CBT, TA and person-centred approaches.
• Leadership and training ability for volunteers and students.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of high-quality counselling services.
• Recruit, train and manage a team of counsellors.
• Provide clinical supervision and assess referrals.
• Support service development and safeguarding adherence.
• Lead volunteering recruitment, training and supervision.
