Job summary

Change Grow Live in Accrington is seeking a Counselling Coordinator to lead a counselling service across Lancashire. You’ll recruit, train, and supervise volunteer and student counsellors, provide direct client work where needed, and oversee referrals and assessments.

The role is hybrid with travel, 30 hours per week, fixed-term to 31 March 2027. You’ll champion trauma‑informed practice, ensure clinical supervision, and support staff development within a values‑led team.

Qualifications

• Professional Level 4 counselling qualification and post-qualified experience.
• Working towards BACP accreditation.
• Knowledge of CBT, TA, and Person-Centred approaches.
• Proven leadership and ability to train volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of high-quality counselling services.
• Recruit, train, and manage a team of counsellors and volunteers.
• Provide clinical supervision and ensure safeguarding and case management.
• Champion trauma-informed practice across the service.
