Job summary

The Clinical Psychologist post sits in the integrated Mental Healthcare team at HMP Wealstun, within Practice Plus Group's Health in Justice service. The role is part time (22.5 hours across three days) with flexible days, suitable for someone experienced in adult mental health, neurodiversity and complex trauma, requiring full HCPC registration.

You will deliver and oversee individual and group interventions, undertake assessments, provide supervision, and contribute to training, service

Qualifications

• Qualified psychologist with HCPC registration.
• Experience in clinical, forensic or counselling psychology.
• Experience with trauma-informed approaches and complex presentations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and oversee one-to-one and group psychological interventions, including trauma-informed programmes.
• Undertake psychological assessments and support complex formulations.
• Provide clinical supervision and reflective practice to the Integrated Mental Health Team.
• Support with training materials, service evaluation and development.
• Oversee supervision of an Assistant Psychologist delivering lower-to-mid intensity work.
• Deliver teaching and training to staff.
• Attend risk management meetings and provide psychological input.
• Carry out risk assessments and communicate complex information clearly.
• Supervise trainees and contribute to recruitment and research.
