Job summary

Practice Plus Group is seeking a Senior Psychologist for the Integrated Mental Health Team at HMP Stocken. The role leads clinical work on trauma-informed psychological therapies and oversees two Assistant Psychologists, with a focus on complex adult presentations including neurodiversity.

The post is part time (22.5 hours across three days) with flexibility over weekdays. Full HCPC registration is required and offers are subject to vetting and security checks.

Qualifications

• Full HCPC registration as a practitioner psychologist.
• Proven experience in clinical, forensic or counselling psychology.
• Experience with forensic mental health patients and trauma-informed approaches.
• Competence in team-based care and multidisciplinary working.

Responsibilities

• Offer clinical supervision and oversight to the Integrated Mental Health Team.
• Deliver 1:1 and group psychological interventions, including trauma‑informed programmes.
• Supervise two Assistant Psychologists and provide teaching to staff.
• Attend reviews and risk management meetings; provide formulation and treatment planning.
• Contribute to audits, research, policy development and governance meetings.
• Maintain clinical records and update outcomes data on the dashboard.
