Job summary

Practice Plus Group is seeking a Senior Psychologist to join the Integrated Mental Health Team at HMP Stocken. The role focuses on trauma-informed care within a category C training prison and includes supervising two Assistant Psychologists.

The post is 22.5 hours per week, with flexible days, and offers a salary up to £61,190 FTE depending on experience. You will play a key role in clinical leadership and professional development.

Qualifications

• Full HCPC registration as a practitioner psychologist
• Proven experience in Clinical/Forensic or Counselling Psychology
• Experience working with Forensic Mental Health patients
• Experience working with psychological trauma
• Excellent communication skills
• Team player

Responsibilities

• Offer clinical support and oversight to the Integrated Mental Health Team (IMHT) through training, supervision and reflective practice
• Undertake psychological assessments and support complex multi-disciplinary formulations
• Deliver and oversee 1:1 psychological interventions and group sessions as part of the Trauma Informed 'Making Sense' Programme
• Deliver teaching and training to healthcare and prison staff as required
• Contribute to audit, service evaluation and research activities
