Homes2Inspire is seeking a Children's Residential Support Worker for its Henlade home near Taunton. You’ll help children recover from trauma, build trust, and develop life skills in a nurturing, therapeutic environment.

The role includes shifts, weekends, and sleep-ins, with comprehensive induction and ongoing training. We offer a competitive salary (£29,767-£31,579 p.a.), generous leave, and a range of benefits including sleep-in payments and career progression within a growing national

Formación

• Experience working with children, young people, or adults with complex needs or behaviours that challenge.
• Strong emotional resilience and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Confidence with therapeutic, child-centred approaches.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to complete Level 3 Diploma if not already qualified.

Responsabilidades

• Build trusting relationships with children and young people.
• Provide day-to-day care, guidance, and emotional support.
• Help children develop independence and essential life skills.
• Support access to education, hobbies, activities and community opportunities.
• Safeguard and promote welfare of children at all times.
• Respond calmly and therapeutically to challenging situations.
• Work with colleagues, social workers, education professionals, and clinicians.
• Contribute to care planning and record keeping.
