The Lighthouse, Gloucestershire is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a 5-bed residential home in Stroud for young females aged 13-18 with mental health needs. This role offers leadership responsibility, visibility over service culture and staff development, and requires a Level 5 qualification in residential childcare or equivalent with relevant experience.

You will oversee operations, safeguarding, and regulatory readiness, while developing a compassionate, trauma-informed care

Qualifikationen

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or Level 5 Health & Social Care) with residential childcare experience.
• Proven track record in management or deputy manager level within a children's residential care setting.
• In-depth knowledge of Ofsted inspection frameworks and safeguarding legislation.
• Values-driven, resilient leadership with trauma-informed and therapeutic care principles.

Aufgaben

• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring Ofsted compliance and Children’s Homes Regulations 2015.
• Maintain high-quality care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding practices.
• Lead the home through regulatory inspections with a drive for Good or Outstanding ratings.
• Recruit, supervise, and retain a high-performing care team through development and leadership.
• Build effective partnerships with local authorities, social workers, and multidisciplinary teams.
