Lanes Group is seeking a Transport and Compliance Manager based in Southampton, Hampshire. This full-time role focuses on maintaining a compliant transportation fleet, regulatory adherence, and safety protocols across the company’s LMC operations.

You will develop preventive maintenance programs, coordinate with maintenance teams and suppliers, and ensure accurate records and reporting of activities. The position emphasizes safety, compliance, and effective stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of BSI Policies and their responsibilities towards them.
• Develop and execute comprehensive preventive maintenance programs for the transportation fleet.
• Collaborate with in-house maintenance teams and external service providers to ensure timely repairs and inspections.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including schedules and costs.
• Stay abreast of UK transportation regulations and standards to ensure compliance.
• Conduct regular audits to verify safety and environmental compliance.
• Implement and enforce robust safety protocols and provide driver training.
• Generate reports on maintenance and compliance KPIs for management.
