The Role

• Direct daily activities to ensure a safe, secure, clean, and fair work environment for colleagues
• Implement the daily schedule as issued by the Transport Planning Managers
• Manage driver colleagues on a day-to-day basis
• Deliver Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Plan, manage, and adjust staffing levels to meet operational requirements
• Communicate relevant delivery updates to the RST team promptly
• Use vehicle tracking systems and debrief information to identify and reduce retail hours
• Support Shunters in ensuring driver and fleet checks are conducted appropriately
• Organize and lead initiatives to improve productivity targets
• Liaise with on-site fleet providers to ensure vehicle availability
• Review details from Driver Debriefs and Issue Logs
• Prioritize health, safety, and wellbeing of colleagues
