Transport Team Manager - Night Shift

We have exciting opportunities for Transport Team Managers to join our distribution centre in Bedford! Due to growth and organizational changes, we are seeking candidates for nightshift roles on a 4 on 4 off basis.

Working hours: 6pm - 6am, 4 days on, 4 days off.

Role Overview

You will operate in line with company values to provide excellent customer service to our retail teams and drivers. You will collaborate with DC loading teams and ensure all legal requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct driver pre-shift briefings and de-briefings.
2. Manage day-to-day operations of drivers.
3. Enter R2C data and complete Scania grading and reports.
4. Conduct return-to-work meetings, 4/8/12-week reviews, and conduct/absence investigations.
5. Provide customer service support to retail teams when needed.
6. Liaise with DC teams and complete near-miss reporting.
7. Support the Transport Shift Manager as required.
