We have exciting opportunities for Transport Team Managers to join our distribution centre in Bedford. Due to growth and organizational changes, we are seeking Transport Managers to work night shifts on a 4 on 4 off basis.

Working hours: 6pm - 6am, 4 on 4 off.

In this role, you will operate in line with company values to provide excellent customer service to retail teams and drivers, collaborating with DC loading teams and ensuring all legal requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct driver pre-shift briefings and de-briefings.
2. Manage drivers' daily activities.
3. Enter R2C data and complete Scania grading and reports.
4. Conduct return-to-work meetings, 4/8/12-week reviews, and investigate absences.
5. Provide customer service support to retail teams as needed.
6. Liaise with DC teams and complete near-miss reporting.
7. Support the Transport Shift Manager when required.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience as a Transport Manager.
• Knowledge of transport legislation.
• Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide teams.
