Job summary

Booker Fareham is seeking a Transport Team Manager to support the site management team in efficient, safe, legal and cost effective transport operations. The role focuses on maintaining service levels and driving improvements across contracts.

You will report to the Transport Operations manager and drive KPIs, manage vehicle breakdowns, and ensure timeliness of loads while maintaining compliance with transportation legislation and health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead Transport operations to achieve KPIs and service level agreements.
• Manage vehicle breakdowns and minimise impact on retailer operations.
• Analyse driver infringements and coordinate with Warehouse for timely loading and departures.
• Ensure compliance with transport legislation, Driver hours, and fleet maintenance.
• Plan labour and resources to deliver on time while upholding safety and quality standards.
