Job summary

Bidfood Cannock is seeking a Transport Team Manager to lead the transport operations, ensure compliance and develop the team delivering top‑notch service.

You will coach and motivate staff, communicate clearly, recruit and manage performance, and oversee vehicle checks, PPE, and safety procedures to meet KPIs.

In this fast‑paced role you’ll champion safety, plan workloads within driving hours rules, and collaborate with other departments to keep service levels high.

• Overseeing management of commercial vehicles, cages and pallets.
• PPE, vehicle checks, servicing, MOTs, VORs and temperature checks.
• Allocating work within hours rules to reach targets.
• Conducting quality investigations.
• Promoting and managing safety at all times.
