Job summary

Culina Logistics in Stafford is offering a full-time Transport Support Operator position on a 4 on/4 off night shift schedule (7pm–7am). The role focuses on administrative support, data accuracy, and meeting deadlines to keep the site running smoothly.

Salary is £26,825 per year plus a £1,890 night shift allowance. You will debrief drivers, manage PODs, maintain spreadsheets, and use the TMS to depart loads. Join Culina’s dedicated transport team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in administration.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
• Effectively prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines.
• Strong MS Office skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Able to work as part of a team or individually.

Responsibilities

• Correctly debriefing drivers.
• Checking all timesheets for correct completion and ensuring all PODs are returned completed correctly.
• Scanning and storing PODs using Culina's document management system.
• Preparing drivers' wallets and issuing delivery notes in drop sequence plus any other relevant delivery information.
• Printing all despatch notes and replenishing despatch paper as required.
• Answering the telephone and assisting with any enquiries.
• Ensuring all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) are communicated to Customer Services.
• Consistently updating all spreadsheets including, but not limited to; change-overs, run summaries and trailer check sheets.
• Departing loads using Transport Management System (TMS)
• Ensuring all uplifts is despatched in correct loads.

We have a great opportunity for a Transport Support Operator to join our Stafford Transport team on a full time permanent basis!

As a Transport Support Operator you will be responsible for providing administrative support and accurate data, with the ability to work to deadlines in order to contribute to the overall success of the site.
