Job summary

Culina Logistics is seeking a hands-on Driver Debriefer to join our team in Market Drayton. You will debrief drivers, verify timesheets, manage PODs, and keep despatch information accurate for night shifts on a 4 on/4 off pattern.

Key duties include scanning PODs, preparing driver wallets, issuing delivery notes, updating TMS records, and communicating ETAs to Customer Services while maintaining precise spreadsheets and delivering excellent service within a busy logistics operation.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and accurate data entry.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.
• Good communication to convey accurate information.
• Strong computer literacy including Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Correctly debriefing drivers.
• Checking timesheets for correctness and ensuring PODs are returned.
• Scanning and storing PODs using Culina’s document management system.
• Preparing drivers’ wallets and issuing delivery notes in drop sequence.
• Printing all despatch notes and replenishing despatch papers.
• Answering the telephone and assisting with enquiries.
• Downloading drivers’ tachographs.
• Communicating ETAs to Customer Services.
• Updating spreadsheets for run summaries and trailer checks.
• Departing loads using the Transport Management System (TMS).
• Ensuring uplifts are dispatched in correct loads.

Job Description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a hands on Driver Debriefer to join our Culina Logistics Team.

Shift Pattern

4 on 4 off Nights with Start/finish times 18:30-06:30

Key Accountabilities

• Correctly debriefing drivers
• Checking all timesheets for correct completion and ensuring all PODs are returned completed correctly
• Scanning and storing PODs using Culina’s document management system
• Preparing drivers’ wallets and issuing delivery notes in drop sequence plus any other relevant delivery information
• Printing all despatch notes and replenishing despatch paper as required
• Answering the telephone and assisting with any enquiries
• Downloading drivers’ cards / tachographs
• Ensuring all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) are communicated to Customer Services
• Consistently updating all spreadsheets including, but not limited to; change-overs, run summaries and trailer check sheets
• Departing loads using Transport Management System (TMS)
• Ensuring all uplifts are despatched in correct loads
